Poem: The Door

12 03 2006

Sitting

Alone  Staring

At the floor

I wait quietly

For someone To walk in

Through my door

Someone Anyone  Just to come

And make sure

The anger

The hurt I feel

Down to my core

Alone

Forgotten  Not loved  Anymore

Dead and Waiting Forever  For that door

If the layout looks strange then that’s the fault of the site. I wrote this yesterday when I was angry at my family. The way it is spoken is to rhyme the words floor, door, sure, core and door again. In other word just rhyme the last word on every fourth line with the next verse if that makes sense.
